Japanese Food - Moyashi -
Moyashi
もやし
Bean Sprout
The term “Moyashi” means “to cause something to sprout”, and the food refers to the sprout of beans. Even though the Japanese phrase “Moyashikko” (a child like a Moyashi) suggests “being an indoor body who may look pale and lack energy”, the food Moyashi is full of nutrients, including vitamins and minerals. More importantly for your purse, it’s very cheap. So, it’s definitely a good idea to place the food on the dinner table. There are three types of Moyashi available in Japan: green bean Moyashi, Mame Moyashi (soybean Moyashi), and black gram Moyashi. Often used as a topping for Rāmen and as an ingredient for Yasai Itame (vegetable sauté) or soup, it can be eaten boiled or quickly fried.
